Vintage Meets Modern at The Logan Theatre in Chicago

Opened in 1915 and renovated in 1922 as the Logan Theatre, this theatre is steeped in history while retaining modern elements. The family that took over the theatre made sure to keep its promise to entertain the neighborhood with cinema at affordable prices. The modern renovations provide comfortable seating, new screens and sound system and so much more.

Aside from new movies that are shown here, there are tons of events to come and check out! On Tuesdays, you and your friends could enjoy trivia night in the lounge and your team could win a gift card to the theatre. If you’re into comedy shows, come to Logan Theatre every Monday at 8 p.m. and check out local comedians. If you’re feeling brave, sign up for open mic! For music lovers, Cage + Aquarium do live DJ sets in the lounge every Thursdays. For those feeling nostalgic, the Logan Theatre will present Musical May, where movie musicals are played all month long. Check out classics such as Phantom of the Paradise, Purple Rain, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Dark Side of the Rainbow, and so much more!

The Logan Theatre is much more than just a theatre that shows movies. It is an effort to reach out to the community and spread the love for cinema, music, and comedy.
